Cheap plastic disposable wire-insertion tool for pressing telephone wires into IDC type terminals as found on the back of most professional telecom and data sockets, junction boxes, etc. - such as NTE5 front plates, BT ADSL adaptors, modular and fixed telephone and data sockets among many others. These will get you through a very small one-off job, but if you're doing more than a couple of terminal jobs, choose a proper IDC insertion tool (i.e the "Krone-type" tool, also sold here of course!) as the plastic contact faces of these little make-do ones soon wear.
Note also that this basic inserter also has no cutting mechanism so you'll need to trim your wires length manually. |
