Having a) defeated Ned Manager "Frank" in unarmed verbal combat
and b) had to sleep with the entire band as punishment, I can report
that they got their name from the Goon Show, their
hair from Yeah! God and their tunes from some wierd shop in the Midlands
where The Stuffies, Poppies and indeed Droppies go. Frenetic is The
Neddies' middle name but tunes surface frequently. The Smiths are quoted
"ironically". Why do all these people write songs with the
word "baybi" in them a million times? Eh?
