These are fully wired RJ11 sockets, with all six conductors, 1 to 6 of course. If you're using one as an ADSL outlet, don't confuse it with a normal UK telephone socket which uses pins numbered 2 and 5 for the line pair - on a proper RJ11 unit like this, use pins 3 and 4. But you knew that already, didn't you...

Could be used to provide a fully operational, ringing socket, when you can only supply it with the line wire pair [2 and 5] or [A and B] but not the ringer wire [3] for example - if this paragraph means nothing to you, then don't touch this product.

As this is a real "master" socket, we'd advise you don't use more than 2 of these on any one exchange line.
